How should I store my cheesecake?
For cheesecake, it's essential to refrigerate it promptly after serving and to store it in the refrigerator at 40°F (4°C) or below. The FDA advises against leaving perishable foods, including cheesecake, at room temperature for more than 2 hours (or 1 hour if the ambient temperature is above 90°F or 32°C) to prevent bacterial growth and foodborne illnesses.
Cheesecake will remain fresh in a fridge for up to seven days and in the freezer for up to 30 days. However, please be advised while cheesecake can be frozen, it's not ideal for maintaining its texture and taste. Please store cheesecake in original container or an air tight container to maintain its shape and protect it from outside odors in the fridge.
Store your cheesecake away from direct sunlight or heat sources, as exposure to warmth can cause it to soften or melt.
What is the best way to cut a whole cheesecake?
Use a long, thin, and sharp knife, such as a chef's knife or a serrated knife. Dip the knife into hot water and wipe it clean between each slice to prevent sticking and ensure smooth cuts.
What is the best way to transport my cheesecake?
Create a level, non-slip surface on your vehicle's floorboard, away from direct sunlight. During transportation, drive slowly and avoid sudden stops or sharp turns to prevent the cake from shifting or sliding.

At this time, we are exclusively serving the local DFW area and do not offer shipping services.
Can I go to a store front and order?
We are a boutique bakery operating from a private kitchen and don’t have a physical storefront to walk in and order at this time. To place an order, please visit our website and select your desired pickup date during checkout. Thank you for supporting our small-scale bakery.
Do you offer slices or different sizes?
At this time, we offer standard 9inch size gluten-free cheesecakes and do not provide custom sizes or individual slices due to our current scale of operations. However, as we expand and grow, we aim to offer a wider range of options to accommodate all preferences.
Though, we intend to have pop up shops and booths at local farmers markets where we will offer slices from a limited menu so please subscribe to our newsletter to be notified about these special events!
When will I receive my order?
Our cheesecakes are freshly baked to order, ensuring the highest quality. Please allow up to 48 hours for pickup availability. If need order within 24 hours, please contact us at orders@theygotcheesecake.com and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.
What’s your cancel and refund policy?
Due to the cost and labor involved in artisanal baking, we cannot offer refunds on canceled orders. However, if you notify us of a cancellation at least one week in advance, we will gladly credit your purchase for a future date or refund to your original credit card.
